Terms & Conditions

Veystead · Last updated 15 September 2026

Veystead is operated by Benjamin George Churchill trading as Veystead. It is provided for trade businesses and professional use. By creating an account, starting a trial or using the service, the business customer accepts these terms.

1. The service

Veystead provides online tools for managing jobs, teams, timesheets, quotes, invoices and related business records. Features may be improved or changed as the service develops. We will take reasonable care to keep the service available, but uninterrupted or error-free operation is not guaranteed.

2. Pricing and employee cost

£19 per month includes one owner £7.99 per month for each additional active employee or user

Example: one owner plus one active employee is £26.99 per month.

Your current team size and monthly total are shown in Plan & Billing. An active employee or user is a team member whose Veystead membership is active. Deactivated members are excluded from the next calculated active-seat total.

Prices are in pounds sterling. Any tax that Veystead is legally required to charge will be shown before payment or on the relevant billing document.

3. Trial, automatic renewal and payment

Where a 14-day trial is offered, the subscription automatically becomes paid when the trial ends unless it is cancelled beforehand. After that, the subscription renews automatically each month using the saved payment method until cancelled. The owner authorises Veystead and its payment provider, Stripe, to take the displayed recurring amount.

The customer must keep billing information current. If payment fails, access may be restricted or suspended after reasonable attempts to resolve the payment.

4. Cancellation

The owner may cancel at any time from More → Plan & Billing → Cancel subscription. Cancellation stops the next automatic renewal. Access continues until the end of the current trial or paid billing period unless the law requires otherwise. Payments already made are not refunded for a partly used month except where required by law.

5. Accounts, employees and permissions

The customer is responsible for account security, deciding who may join its workspace, assigning appropriate permissions and removing access when it is no longer required. The person adding an employee confirms that the business is authorised to use that employee's email and employment information for Veystead.

Owners and administrators control membership. Permissions may limit employees' access to financial or pricing information, but the customer remains responsible for checking its configuration.

6. Business records and customer responsibilities

The customer is responsible for the accuracy and legality of information entered into Veystead, including customer details, job records, hours, prices, quotes and invoices. Veystead is a management tool and does not provide accounting, tax, employment or legal advice. Customers should retain any records and exports required for their own legal, tax or operational obligations.

7. Acceptable use

You must not use Veystead unlawfully; attempt to gain unauthorised access; interfere with security or availability; upload malicious code; misuse another person's information; or use the service to infringe intellectual-property, privacy or other rights. We may restrict or suspend access where reasonably necessary to protect customers, the service or comply with law.

8. Customer data and privacy

The customer retains its rights in information it enters into Veystead and permits us to process that information only as needed to provide, secure and support the service and meet legal obligations. Our Privacy Policy explains how personal information is handled.

9. Veystead rights

Veystead and its underlying software, design and branding remain protected by intellectual-property law. These terms give the customer a limited, non-exclusive and non-transferable right to use the service for its own business during an active trial or subscription. They do not transfer ownership of Veystead technology or branding.

10. Liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited, including liability for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, death or personal injury caused by negligence. Subject to that, Veystead is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, loss of business opportunity or loss caused by information entered incorrectly by a customer. Veystead's total liability relating to the service is limited to the subscription fees paid by the customer during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.

11. Ending access

The customer may stop using the service and cancel its subscription at any time. We may suspend or end access for a serious or repeated breach of these terms, non-payment, unlawful use or a security risk. Where reasonably possible, we will give notice and an opportunity to resolve the issue.

12. Changes to these terms or prices

We may update these terms or prices as Veystead develops. Material changes will be notified in the service or by email before they take effect. A price change will not alter a billing period already paid for. Continuing to use the service after an updated term takes effect means the business accepts the updated terms; if it does not agree, it may cancel before the next renewal.

13. Governing law

These terms and any dispute relating to Veystead are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales will have jurisdiction, unless mandatory law requires otherwise.
